テリー・ライリー『In C』は、音楽の枠組みを変えた作品です。演奏者の枠を広げ、楽譜の枠を取外し、音の意識の壁を取り払いました。今回のプロジェクトでは、さらに枠組みや壁を取り払います。ポータブルの演奏装置を使用することで楽器演奏と楽譜読解のプロセスを取り除きます。そして、音の空間と時間や環境に対する意識を広げることを目指します。まず音楽堂の内外の空間をC（ハ長調）で満たします。続いて桜木町駅に向かって演奏しながら練り歩きます。空に溶けてゆくメロディーを感じつつ、ビルや木々の反響を楽しみつつ。自動車や電車の音にハ長調が混ざっていくでしょう。こうして、音楽と耳と体を使って、音楽堂や桜木町の街の風景をちょっとだけ変えてみたいと思います。ぜひ、ご参加ください！

2022年7月2日（土）開催 シリーズ「新しい視点」紅葉坂プロジェクト関連事業 参加者募集中！
7月2日の神奈川県立音楽堂の「新しい視点・紅葉坂プロジェクト」公演後に、音楽堂ホワイエからJR桜木町駅に向けて出発するパフォーマンスです。
演奏する曲はテリー・ライリーの「In C」です。このハ長調の断片を繰り返すことで音楽世界を作り出す作品を、ポータブル再生機を使って合奏しながら桜木町を練り歩きます。楽譜や楽器を使わず音源を再生することで、音の調和感や空間感覚に集中し、また都市の環境に別の音を投げかけ街を変様させるサウンドスケープ的なパフォーマンスです。さらには、都市に新たなコミュニケーションを生み出す、という大きな目標があります。
本番以外に、下記の日程で5回行われる練習に、2回以上参加していただくことが条件です。練習では機材の使い方や試奏はもちろん、サウンドスケープやサウンドアートについてもお話しする予定です。
