숨비 - Sumbi -
New sound installation in Busan Korea.
The title "Sumbi" is from the name of a special way of breathing by the female divers in Korea.
They use the skill to breath as deep as possible to dive longer.
In Japan, female divers also use the same technique called as "Isobue".

7 flue pipes are tuned and installed on a ship.
Each of them has a box as bellows that receives the sea waves
and sends the air to the pipe.
It is a permanent art work for the Kangkangee Art project
(Daepyeong-ro district, Busan Korea).
